Cecil Clement Crawford (1893—1976) was well-known for his sermon books as well as his fervent stance upon the principles underlying the American Restoration (Stone-Campbell Movement). His works continue to be utilized by preachers and Bible class teachers to this day. Perhaps his most popular work was his Sermon Outlines on Acts. Originally published in 1919—shortly after the end of World War 1—this work continues numerous expositions of both doctrinal and practical value. The book of Acts has been foundational for the beliefs and practices of the churches of Christ, providing a blueprint for church polity, preaching, evangelism, worship, and organization. This classic work has been revised and reformatted to provide a smoother reading experience for a modern audience.
